Advantages: It's THE CROW, There are 14 tracks to keep you happy, Over an hour of music

Disadvantages: The writing on the back is very small and hard to read

Okay, for those that don't know, there are actually TWO (yes TWO) Crow soundtracks available. Even though this review thing is supposed to be about the instrumental version (for which there is already a review right here), I will write (type) a review for the other version..

First things first, the tracks are as follows:

1| THE CURE -- Burn
2| MACHINES OF LOVING GRACE -- Golgotha Tenement Blues
3| STONE TEMPLE PILOTS -- Big Empty
4| N.I.N. -- Dead Souls
5| R.A.T.M. -- Darkness
6| VIOLENT FEMMES -- Colour Me Once
7| ROLLINS BAND -- Ghostrider
8| HELMET -- Milktoast
9| PANTERA -- The Badge
10| FOR LOVE NOT LISA -- Slip Slide Melting
11| MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT -- After The Flesh
12| THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN -- Snakedriver
13| MEDICINE -- Time Baby III
14| JANE SIBERRY -- It Can't Rain All The Time

The first track alone is worth buying this CD for. It's the song from when The Crow is 'suiting up', putting on his make-up and clothes etc. So just imagine, you can play that track as you are getting dressed, and imagine that you are THE CROW! How cool. Ahem, well, that's what I like to to anyway!

Well, this whole CD is like a big ride thru the whole 'Crow' experience. It kicks off with the greatest track from the movie, and ends - like the film - with a soft, gentle feeling. In fact, the last track 'It Can't Rain All The Time' is a complete contrast to the previous songs. It leaves the ablum ending on a very calm note, and just gently brings you down as the CD ends.

In between those two tracks, you will find a mish mash of rock, metal, punk and all sorts. Some from bands like Rage Against The Machine, others from perhaps lesser known, but equally as talented, people.

This CD is an absolute MUST for any Crow fan. It opitomises the film beautifully. So go and buy it now! Go go GO!

Ok op - if I didn't know much about the crow now though I don't think I'd know much more.
