      Very helpful

Amazing - well worth owning a copy of this album

Everyone should have listened to (and preferably own a copy of) this album.

The most popular and recognisable album by Pink Floyd sums up all that music of this era was about, and more. The influences of this album can still be felt today, and listening to it is a true treat for music aficionados and casual listeners alike.

More of an audio showpiece than an album, this is something which should be listened to all the way through, in order and without interruption. Preferably in a darkened room, with a glass of wine, some incense and in the presence of a wall hanging or two. Its cacophony of sounds is like a beautiful assault on the ears – and when listened to with the attention it deserves you couldn’t fail to find yourself fully immersed in the experience. Whether you are one who delves into the themes behind the music – time, greed and death – or whether you prefer to just enjoy the sounds, I promise you’ll enjoy this album. The sounds are experimental, yet classic – and there are more than a few well-known pieces tucked in between the more obscure tracks.

Although this album is now over 40 years old, it is, in my opinion, utterly timeless. One of the most important and influential albums of all time, and with good reason. The Dark Side of the Moon features on pretty much every “must listen” list, and it is one of those albums that well and truly lives up to its reputation. Utterly brilliant.

I would recommend to a friend

I got got this album so that I could realise what all the hype was about. Dark Side of the Moon was one of the most popular albums of all time and still is a very popular title. This is because it is a great album that sums up all of what Pink Floyd was doing before and refines it into a more marketable format. (Mostly because it didn't contain any songs that were 40 minutes long.) This is an album that lives up to the hype, and is a true classic rock masterpiece.

ALL IN ALL two big thumbs up! This is an iconic album and has an iconic cover to match the music. I am very glad I bothered to get this album and yes I would recommend it to a friend, if you haven't heard it yet, you need to. No regrets hey - Its a classic!
