Liam Howlett hosts an hour of raucous tunes in this very enjoyable, but slightly dated mix album. He cleverly whips up a healthy mix of tracks into a polished whole and listeners will be treated to a mix of hip hop, rock and indie sounds, with the decided emphasis on the hip hop. You'll recognise snippets from Kool Keith, the Beastie Boys, Jane's Addiction, the Sex Pistols and the Chemical Brothers (among others). This isn’t really a prodigy album but a collection of tracks mixed together by the main man behind the prodigy, Liam Howlett. This album is basically some of his favourite tracks which he has put together in a DJ style mix. This album definitely gives an insight into the musical roots of Liam and the prodigy which is a hip hop, old skool type music, a lot different from the style of the Prodigy. The release version does have a few changes from the original, with some of the tracks that wasn’t allowed for release which included a beatles track.
