"The Documentary" came out in 2005, and was the debut album from then G-Unit member, The Game. Contrasting from the rest of the label at the time, The Game is a Compton, California rapper, and so has him coming with authentic Gangsta Rap from the Blood member. You have him on lots of beats from Dr. Dre, as well as other star producers such as Just Blaze, Timbaland and Cool & Dre. 1. "Intro" 2. "Westside Story" This one came as his debut single, and although I hadn't heard it before hearing the album in its entirety, it certainly shows the potential for big things as he gets down to it with 50 Cent on top ... The Game, real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is a gangsta rapper from Compton, Los Angeles and 2005's The Documentary, was his debut album. The album features 18 tracks and was co-produced by Dr Dre and 50 Cent. The Game also collaborates with a number of other established artists on the album, such as 50 Cent, Eminem, Nate Dogg, Faith Evans and Mary J Blige. The style of the album is particularly unique with a heavy influence from The Game's west-coast roots. The content is explicit at times but this is to be expected, as The Game raps about many issues, including feuds with other rappers, gun culture, drugs and sex. His lyrics however, are first class and ... Read the complete review

This album is one of the best albums the Westcoast rap indsurty has produced and 2Pac and Dr.Dre came straight out of the westside so it proves how good this really is. Every song on the album is brilliant and to gice credit where it is due 50 Cent had made most of the lyrics and beats along with Dr.Dre. 50 Cent also appears in many of the songs including Westside story and a massive hit How We Do. The biggest track on the album i think is Hate it or Love its 50 Cent and The game feature in it and it made it high in the charts. All rap fans should consider buying this album if they already don't have it becasue it has some brilliant guests ... Read the complete review

With Dr Dre as a producer, this album had to be good! Fifty Cent appears in the first song; Westside Story. Good way to start off the album and shows whats going to come with the rest of the album. Again collaborating with Fifty, Hate It Or Love It was a MASSIVE tune, and is still being played and is a song that wont go away. The Game takes his position as raps MVP, and raps about growing up and becoming a hp hop star and the things that come with it. Higher is a thumping hip hop tune that sums up all that is The Game. I think this is The Game at his best, and a song that you just wont stop listening to. How We Do is the ... Read the complete review
