Stacy Ann Ferguson, better known by her stage name of Fergie, is a woman with an interesting history. During the 1990s she was a member of the reasonably clean girl group Wild Orchid; in 2003 she joined the Black Eyed Peas, a previously underground hip-hop outfit who were about to break out into the mainstream. As the Peas' sole female member she took a leaf from the book of Madonna and re-invented herself, stripping away the niceties - and the clothes - in favour of something more overtly sexual. Fergie started off with Black Eyed Peas and they were a great success. She then decided to bring out a solo album and this is what I'm going to review. I will go through each track listing the track time and my mark out of 5 for each track. * Fergalicious - feat Will.I.Am: (4.52) 2/5 This song seems to be all over the place it's just like bits of different music all put together. It's about Fergie being great and 'Fergalicious' which means she's tasty. It's a funky song which is upbeat but it is a strange song. Will.I.Am raps throughout the song. There is a computerised feel to it which is a very fast beat like the track is skipping. * Clumsy: ... Read the complete review

Fergie, the newest member to the West Coast Hip Hop crew The Black Eyed Peas (who turned to Hip Pop with her addition) released her debut solo album, "The Dutchess", in 2006. It has her focus her attention to the field which she specialised in: Pop, whilst bringing in her R&B and Hip Hop influences with backing from band mate will.i.am, as well as the likes of Polow Da Don, Ron Fair and John Legend. 1. "Fergalicious" To get things going in an excited manner, we drop into one of the big singles from the album, and it finds her showing off her Hip Hop side to start things as she gets down a track based heavy upon J.J. Fad's ... Read the complete review

The Dutchess is artist Fergie (from the Black Eyed Peas) solo album that was released in 2006, it is a more feminine album than the Black Eyed Peas songs she normally does and is a great album to have if you like a bit of R&B. You can buy The Dutchess in most good music stores for around £5 to £10, which is well worth the money as there are some great tracks on it. The track listing on The Dutchess is: 1.) Fergilicious 2.) Clumsy 3.) All That I Got 4.) London Bridge 5.) Pedestal 6.) Voodoo Doll 7.) Glamourous 8.) Here I Come 9.) Velvet 10.) Big Girls Dont Cry 11.) Mary Jane Shoes 12.) ... Read the complete review

**Introduction** Fergie (Real Name Stacy Ferguson) made her name in the hip hop group Black Eyed Peas whom she joined as a replacement to former singer Kim Hill before their Elephunk album which turned the group from respected hip hoppers into huge stars. In 2006 she released her first solo album after being involved on the Black Eyed Peas albums 2003's Elephunk and the 2005 release Monkey Business. **The Dutchess** Stacy Ferguson released her debut solo album as Fergie in 2006 and collaborations with Will i am keep the Black Eyed Peas element of her music strong.
