I ve been a long time fan of Nightwish and within temptation and was looking for something else along these lines- i discovered S Sirenia and i have to say i think they are rather good! I did discover that the female vocalists seem to change a lot with this band and some prefer one to the other, i don t mind at all as the female vocals,whilst not being outstanding, are accomplished enough for a good listen. I must mention that this album has a lot of male "growling" vocals aswell that accompany the main singer. I found they are actually very good and fit nicely with the main vocalist and we mustn t forget the background choir vocals aswell, they all fit really ...
