Fortunately, The M Meads of Asphodel are a hugely talented and entertaining band with a strong sense of humour, and their second full length, "Exhuming the Grave of Yeshua" is a pleasure to listen to from start to finish. Whilst not quite as much of an avid fan of the album as the person who reviewed the review that I read which lead me to check them out, I have to say that their very existence brought a smile to my face as it seems to be another talented band to grace the UK metal scene in recent years. I was starting to worry that the numerous screamo and emo bands had begun taking the place of real metal in the UK especially as Scandanavian, Eastern European and US metal evolved and all the UK were churning out was power metal bands that looked poor compared to their 80s counterparts.
