You only need to look at Lady GaGa to see she has one fundamental aspect of pop covered - her striking image, part sparkly pop of early Madonna, part glam trash of 70s Bowie. Just as teenage girls in the mid 80s shocked their parents by striding out in torn fishnets and massive crucifixes, it's heartening to think that even as I type there's a 14 year old girl somewhere with a platinum wig and glittering metallic adornments across her cheek being roundly told by her mother that on no account is she going out like THAT. This is what pop music is all about after all: aspiration. Well, that, and great tunes, which her debut album 'The Fame' has in abundance. As ... Read the complete review

THE FAME is the title of pop star LADY GAGA's album. The album contains 14 tracks. The opening song is the now dance favourite JUST DANCE featuring vocals from COLBY O'DONIS. This is a great fast paced track with a funky beat and a memorable chorus with lots of attitude. LOVEGAME is a song with bizarre lyrics but a catchy beat that uses her strong vocals to carry the melodies. PAPARAZZI is another powerful track with a upbeat intro, though when Gaga's vocals start the song takes a serious side and is quite mellow in it's sound. The chorus is haunting. My favourite song on the album is POKER FACE which is a great dance ... Read the complete review

Last year Lady Gaga was a nobody this year she has released some of the big 2009 tunes and had a platinum selling album which might I just say is fantastic! Her debut album The Fame is unique and like nothing you will have ever heard before but trust me you will be listening over and over again. Price: For around £8-£10 you could be the owner of this album and its sold in all good music stockists HMV and Amazon just to name a couple. Tracks: Just Dance- Her first debut single that did get us all up and dancing! Featuring both Akon and Colby O'Donis this is a great track for getting up there on the dancefloor. Gaga said she wrote this ... Read the complete review

Lady Gaga is a new american artist who has recently brought out her brand new single 'Poker Face', before this the club banger 'Just Dance'. She hasn't always been a singer instead Lady Gaga started out as a songwriter for the likes of Pussycat Dolls. Her first single Just Dance was so catchy and a true hit with most people, including myself that I just had to purchase her album 'Fame'. When my get up and go has got up and gone all I need to do is slot this CD into my CD player and it will suddenly shoot back making me want to Get Up and Dance. I find each song quite catchy and almost addictive - even the ones I havn't been that fussed on have ... Read the complete review

The copy of 'The Fame' i'll be reviewing is the standard UK edition, with 16 tracks, there's a couple of different versions out there, but in all honesty, we have the best pick. Lady Gaga is all about the image. and a note to Beyonce on how to do a fierce alter ego. Her image screams early madonna / Gwen Stefani, the giant glasses, loads of leather, and quite recently, she's been parading a lot of 'creative' hats around the field (on Ellen, she wore what could only be described as a kid's mobile toy round her head). No doubt in my mind that the look is being copied all over the world by little girls (and prob a few guys too - it's ok, no-one's ... Read the complete review
