The two tracks that really stand out are Black Helicopters and The C.I.A is trying to kill me, obviously being quite a big fan of guitars - I quite like the latter version on the album which is rocky. Having selected those tracks out of the pack, I don't mean to undermine any of the other tracks which are all pretty good aswell, the album is solid throughout. The Future is Now is a truly awesome hip hop record by Brooklyn outfit Non Phixion (Ill Bill, Goretex, Sabac Red, Dj Eclipse) backed by quality beats from a plethora of artists including Necro and Dj Premier. This band first got going in the mid 90s but couldn't find a label, amazingly it wasn't until 2002 when this first album was relesed. But what a stunning debut album it is, not one for the youngsters though with a fair bit of profanity, this album covers lots of subjects but has a political focus throughout.
