Everything You See - Runrig

Premium Review 30 years since the first album, phenomenal as ever (456 words)

Rating:

9. Something s Got To Give 10. And The Accordians Played 11. In Scandinavia Everything You See is the fourth album from Runrig since lead singer Bruce Guthro joined, and it s a cracker. I ve loved Runrig all my life, my favourites are from the 80s/early 90s, but this is also one of my favourites. The cover art is brilliant, featuring a shinty player, a very Scottish image. This album goes back to a more folky feel than some of their early 90s albums, and the Scottish influence is quite clear. Don t let that put you off though, this is not folk music - Runrig are a rock-pop-folk band. I won t ...

Mara - Runrig

Premium Review MARA- fun (84 words)
by Hobgob - written on 09/07/00 (Useful, 60 readings)
Rating:

I came to Runrig from the point of view of a folk player, and I was not dissapointed. MARA is one of my favorite albums, I especialy like the tracks where galeic is used. It is possibly not there most accesable of albums and is not designed for the pure pop market. But it is certainly something to get the feet tapping to. The ...
