I quite like Latin music; I love J.Lo, Enrique Iglesais and Shakira. Whilst I am too young to properly remember Ricky Martin, I do remember a couple of his songs when I was about seven or eight. However, when I saw his new album advertising on the television, I was like 'I love that song...and that one...and that one' and so I bought the CD.
Ricky Martin; 17 is the latest album from Ricjy Martin. It is a greatest hits album and it was released in July 2011 and so is very recent. The CD is currently available to buy from Amazon for a price of £5.99 which I think is excellent value for money.

Wow! I love this album! There are some amazing songs on here. Songs which stand out the most for me are: Livin La Vida Loca, She Bangs, Nobody Wants To Be Lonely and Private Emotion.
I like the fact that there are songs on here to suit all tastes of music as well as songs to suit all moods. There are upbeat songs like Livin La Vida Loca, which is sure to get you up and dancing and in the party mood. There is also really emotional songs such as 'Nobody Wants To Be Lonely' and 'Private Emotion'.
I think that Ricky is a great artist - he is quite versatile and so can try any music and do it well. He really puts his all into this music - he is so energetic and it really comes across through this music.
Ricky has a brilliant voice - it's so strong and powerful and suits all kinds of songs. His voice suits both upbeat songs as well as slow emotional ballads. WELL DONE RICKY!
I like the fact that this album is bilingual as it is different. It also means that you see what Ricky is like when he performs in his own language - I love it. There is something amazing about latin music and the Spanish language - it's so emotional and romantic. I also like the English songs as they are exactly like the rest of the latin songs on here just with English instead of Spanish and so that is good.
There are some great duets on here; it is nice to hear different voices rather than just one voice throughout. My favourite duets on here are definitely 'Nobody Wants To Be Lonely' (with Christina Aguilera) and 'Private Emotion' (with Meja). Each duet is different as it brings different energy to the album.
I think that this is a great summer album as it really puts you in the holiday mood. It is an album which is sure to cheer you up, no doubt.
If you like latin music and music that makes you wanna get up and dance, then make sure you have a listen to this album.
Thanks for reading.
