Art Official Intelligence Vol.1: Mosaic Thump - De La Soul
by Ghostfacekilla - written on 20/02/01 (Very useful, 52 readings)
Rating:
I think is really great, being a garage fan too. I still think the original featuring, Chaka Khan, is totally awesome. I am not actually sure which side of America De La Soul are from, but it doesn’t really matter considering the two are getting along so well now anyway. The well known tunes on the album have to be, “All Good,” “Oooh Oooh,” and “Thru Ya City.” All of these tunes are really awesome and have fantastic beats in the background which make the sings so good. Other great tunes on the album include “My Writes,” featuring Xzibit, “U can do,” and “I.C. Y’all,” this time ...

recent release by De La Soul , represents a slight departure from their previous works. Gone are the Daisy Age musings on tracks like 'Eye Know', 'Say no Go' and 'Me myself and I'. In their place comes hard hitting rhymes on floor filling tracks such as 'OOO', 'Thru Ya city' and 'All ...

De La Soul Is Dead - De La Soul

Rating:
do you start with this amzing album. First of all after the smash world wide hit that was 3 Feet High..... it was alwasy going to be hard for De La to repeat that. So they didnt try to, they killed off the Dais image an created a new image yet keeping the same ol' emphasise on the message in the song and of course having fun. This album was not any where near as successful as 3 Feet High.. but in my mind and a lot of others as well this is infact a greater piece of work. Again this album is littered with funny skits but this time round you cant help but feel they are bit over used. Yet I cannot think of a single song which I sont like but my favourites have ...
