The Homeless Microphonist is the debut EP from Newcastle's best rapper Stig of the Dump, written and recorded in 7 days after Stig's friends challenged him to stop complaining about having no money for a deposit for a flat and use his skills, Stig took up the challenge and made one of the better rap EP's you'll find. I've know of Stig for a long time now, from back in the days I first started frequenting Newcastle's rap scene, which was quite small at the time, I would always see Stig about in clubs, bars, gigs, basically where ever there was a rap event, I'd spoken to the man on a couple of occasions but would never profess to know him or him to know me. ...
