... basically their life in Queens. The album is full of phat beats along with superb lyrics that blow you away. Such songs as Survival Of the Fittest. The music is so underground and really shows what they represent. Along with the help of Nas they have climbed to be what i think is one of the best rap groups of all time. The only problem with rappers that get more and more famous is they tend to start going too commercial. Look at Nas, all rap enthuisasts would agree by far his best album was Illmatic, An album from the ...more

Mobb Deep have been around now for just over ten years now producing top quality albums. They started back in the early 90's when they were just teenagers creating a solid album for there first attempt. Next came The Infamous Mobb Deep. In my opinion this is the best album that they have produced by far. Still teenagers aged 19 and there second album is one of the most hardcore, full out rapping. Is it just me or are these boyz too good at what they do. The lyrics they use is basically their life in Queens. The album is full of phat beats along with superb lyrics that blow you away. Such songs as Survival Of the Fittest. The music is so underground and ...  Read the complete review

Havoc and Prodigy are hip hop’s twilight henchman unleashing brutality to new sullen, cheerless levels that made the bazooka-fuelled lyricism and baggy jeans-suede Timbs strut of The Infamous such a dazzling sophomore trailblazer. Mobb Deep’s themes of looking after their own while toying with personal hells and ensuring the streets are swept away under dense of layers of breathless vocalism invite listeners into a doomed world illuminated by the clarity of some sparkling wordplay. Hip-Hop & Rap - Southern - 1997

Still one of hip hop's best tag teams, Where Your Heart At is a must listen - quite brilliant, Occasional glimpses of their former dead-on form Some very sloppy moments not normally associated with MDAn insistence on going 'ghetto fabulous' creeps in slylyJust lacking that certain pazazz that made their last two LP's so storming

Deep lyiricism, poeticism, wit, humour, great rhyming flow I can't fault an album this good

Consistent Nothing specific

Consisten quality One slip in quality

Hardcore , Excellent production, bonus track may sound datedtoo grimy for some Hip-POP fansset a hight standard for future mobb albums
