Advantages: 'Side', 'Flowers In The Window', 'The Last Train'

Disadvantages: 'Dear Diary', 'The Cage'

I now have all three of Travis' albums: Good Feeling, The Man Who and The Invisible band. Each are quite different for a range of reasons. Good Feeling is centred more on soft rock, The Man Who on guitar pop and The Invisible Band on moody harmonies and lies somewhere between Good Feeling and The Man Who in its musical style.

The Invisible Band is undoubtably a great album, it has fine anthums such as 'sing', 'flowers in the window' and 'side' but it also has a darker, deeper and more personal message to show in songs such as 'The Last Train' and 'The Humpty Dumpty Love Song' which are both fantastic.

All in all a great well-rounded album, if you like either of there previous albums you will love this and if you know what you will expect from Travis you will enjoy this but if you want something fast-paced and energy-filled then look elsewhere. This is my favorite of their three albums as it is more mature and shows the mixture of festival anthems and more personal, heart-felt songs. I enjoyed all the songs with the exception of 'Dear Diary' which is far too soppy.

Good op, but I want to hear 'Dear Diary' to find out just how bad it is!
