The Very Best Of Euphoric House BreakdownPlay it Loud!!! (527 words)
by dove3066 - written on 22/04/09 (Useful, 28 readings)
I bought this album when it first came out back in 2003. It is a two Cd set but I confess that I do end up playing the first CD a lot more than the second. The second does seem to suffer from the same problem a lot of two disc sets have that there seem to be a lot of filler tracks . The style of the CD is very Dance themed and it is one of those CD's that just fades from one track to the next so you don't have any annoying gaps. I really love playing this CD in my car - usually on a sunny day when I can take the roof off and play it really really loud!!! Most of the tracks have a really good bass line to them so even if you don't really know the track you ...
War Of The Worlds: HighlightsGreat story, buy it (651 words)

Not big on musicals? neither am I, but if you do buy a cd this year, make sure its Jeff Wayne's musical version of 'War of the Worlds'. 'War of the Worlds' is composed, produced and orchestrated by Jeff Wayne and the whole story is based on classic novel by H. G Wells. H. G Wells is famous for the novel 'The Time Machine', but I feel this story is more epic and inspiring than any of he's other titles. I may be biased, because of all H. G Wells novels 'War of the Worlds' is the only one I know of that has been converted in to a musical. Let's start at the beginning. When I was a teenager, I got to go on a school trip to Derbyshire. As with all school trips that involved a distance ...
War Of The Worlds: HighlightsWar of the Worlds the Slimmers version (1620 words)

~~ War of the Worlds (the highlights) ~~ I found this CD in my collection, if I remember correctly my husband brought it for me because I had lost my copy of the Original War of the Worlds, actually I think I lent it someone and never got it back. He saw this and thought I would enjoy it, I do, but it's not the full length version. So a little about the album, please do not get it mixed up with the films, it does follow the storyline but it is the musical version. ~~ A Little History ~~ We can trace the story of War of the Worlds back to its author H.G.Wells who published his book in 1898. He was a science fiction writer and his book was about the Martians ...

Blue Öyster Cult's creative peak.

Much of this album is excellent, superbly catchy Pop Punk expertly executed.
In 'Leaving' the band try too many things at once and it just doesn't work.
