I grew up on Johnny Cash, my mum s favourite singer, unfortunately, like all teens, I turned my back on my mum s style of music and embraced bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Sting, etc... To be honest I'm not familiar at all with Country style music, but I do know that Johnny Cash is a legend. He's a legend of music in general, as well as being a very credible C&W artist with more grit and edge than the mainstream stuff.
