Advantages: Are the lyrics a way for youngsters to express themselves too?

Disadvantages: Foul language and depressing if you let it effect you that way

The album displays a sticker suggesting parental guidance, however I think it should be the youngsters guiding their parents on this one. The lyrics are severe to the extreme and not for those who are easily offended.

Many parents would be horrifed to let their children listen to this CD because of the foul language and depressive aura. It would be worthwhile for parents to listen to this CD too, they may learn a lot about the suppressed emotions not only of the youngsters but adults too. Slim Shady has dared to express his feelings on subjects are to many ' best left untouched'.

There is very little point in forbidding the youngsters from listening to it, they will only hear with friends or on the radio. Prohibition just makes it more exciting and more of a challenge for them. It's not all doom and gloom, Slim Shady has managed to open a few doors for parents on subjects that your children probably wouldn't have spoken to you about.

It's not to everyones' liking, but then neither is classical or opera.
