This album has got a lot of stick because it has a lot of swearing on it. Many people have said it makes people think violence and swearing are acceptable. True it does go a bit over the top on the language but my opinion is that if you don’t want to listen to it you don’t have to. No one is forcing you to buy it and if you don’t like the music or it offends you then don’t buy it, because there is certainly a massive amount of swear words on it.

The actual songs on the album are not that bad with some that stand out as great, such as Stan, The way I am and Amityville. Stan is definitely my favourite on the album with excellent lyrics and backing vocals, and a great video. However, I am really sick of it now since it got way too much play on the radio and on MTV. I used to enjoy watching the video but now I just turn it over when it comes on. Another highlight of this album is that it brought Dido into the limelight. She is a beautiful woman and has a great singing voice. I have not heard her album but many people have said it is excellent and I may just be tempted to buy it with my Dooyoo earnings.

One of the songs on the album – I think it is Ken Kaniff, is just disgusting. I won’t describe it to you but trust me that it’s repulsive, and I think completely unnecessary. If you are going to buy this album either for yourself or for someone else, be aware that it really is quite offensive and very derogative to women, and is not suitable for anyone under the age of 15. I got this album 5 months ago and it was good for a while but does not have a lot of continuity and I got tired of it pretty quickly. I don’t like rap that much but I recently borrowed Dr Dre’s album 2001 and it is a lot better than Eminem’s. If you want a good gangster-rap album then get it, and stay well clear of the Wu Tang Clan, because they are well and truly crap!
