The Metal Opera - Tobias Sammet's Avantasia

Tobias Sammet created a couple of metal classics with his ambitiously titled "Metal Opera" side-project Avantasia, allowing his more creative and flamboyant side to really come to the fore after the increasingly epic direction of his main band Edguy threatened to get in the way of the more simplistic heavy metal songs about toilets and morning wood that he saw his career taking in the near future.
