Advantages: One of the best albums you'll ever buy, and great value

Disadvantages: None

Bands like the cribs come along rarely, when a small collection of people can unknowingly act as the voice of a generation, and do it so well it really is a true gift to music. In this case that collection of people is made up of twins ryan and gary jarman and thier brother ross jarman and now their newly appointed guitarist jonny marr (the smiths) originaly from wakefield now the bands success is worldwide. The cribs bring back that great punk/rock and roll sound that was so alive in the 70s and 80s, sounding like a modern buzzcocks or ramones and at the same time sounding like nothing you've heard before. This album paralles the first both in quality and content, with slower or "nicer" songs like 'haunted' the one and only live and acustic track on the album and 'it was only love' which although slighty slower paced than there usual still keeps that exspected punky and slightly shambolic sound that the band are famous for . The rest of the album follows on as you'd exspect and at no point dissapoints. the most stand out tracks on the album incude 'hey scenesters', 'martell' and the title track 'the new fellas'. At less than five pounds any music lover would be a fool not to buy this album.

Summary: This album must be heard and should be owned by all.
