... suitably confused, throwing in a healthy dose of blasphemy for good measure but faltering slightly when it comes to actually recording sounds from the instruments. The obvious influences of Venom and Bathory are supplemented by those of European thrash bands of the time, such as Kreator and Celtic Frost, but the resulting mess could by no means be described as an inspired amalgamation. It doesn't sound evil, whatever less experienced black metal fans may think, but occasionally it sounds pretty cool in a dirt...more

Crowned Review The Oath Of Black Blood - Beherit: The Ugliest Album in the World... Ever! (958 words)

More extreme death metal. Black metal is gone for good, and the emphasis is almost entirely on aggression and volume.

Superb live versions of metallica classics with a diffrence Little bit too much Orchestra sometimes, not often though

good not as good as other albums

The best metal/hard rock album in time? maybe Allegedly ''the sell out album''

Experimental, atmospheric and original black metal. Some experiments don't really work, some songs are too long, and it's all fairly uneven.

Another Egyptian-themed brutal death metal album for your ever-growing collection. The central songs are dull and painful without the usual compensation.
