... likes; Souls, R&B, Gospel, Jazz Lounge, soft blues, Latin Lounge, even acoustic soft rock. Some of the tracks just ooze class; 'My Heart' has an infectious beat with a Latin undercurrent and the vocal, well, that reminds me of Sade and Nina Simone mixed, yet it probably has the most contemporary feel of any track on the album, could easily be The Pussycat Dolls (if they had the same level of talent). The Orchard (2008) Lizz Wright. By pure chance....with a little help from iTunes Genius function (it really can be genius), I stumbled on Ms Wright....why I hadn't heard of her before I have no idea. A gospel, blues, soul and jazz inspired vocalist from Georgia this is one of several of her albums, though appears to be the latest and most polished to date. I could go research her on Wikipedia, but then, so could you.
