I had seen the odd video from The Beat on VH1 and also had seen other style of band like The Specials but it was not until when on the documentary series on VH1 Bands Reunited did I really get interested in the band as it was great to see where they had come from how there music had come about what happened to the band after they went their seperate ways and how the VH1 presenter tried so very hard to track down and bring back together all original members of The Beat. He was so close but the odd band member said what was in the past stayed in the past.But the music they created when they were in the height of their fame some of it was ska influenced and some more of a ...
