 ... and even today they tour like crazy. The most upbeat and angry song and the best one in my eyes is "Nasty Nasty", whilst the popular "Emergency" is a bit too poppy for my liking. "Homicide" is another powerful number. The band write good songs and Guy Days is awesome on guitar, one of the best punk guitarists around, really trying some intricate solos amongst other things. If you like good old fashioned punk or if you are a 999 fan then this is the album you want, it collects all of 999's singles between 1977 and 1980. 999 are one of the best punk bands ever in my eyes, perhaps not as influential as The Clash nor The Sex Pistols but still capable of making lots of catchy, aggressive tracks that are well delivered through the nasally vocals of Nick Cash. Their persistent touring of the US, saw them win fans there and even today they tour like crazy.
