Advantages: biology, no good advice, love machine

Disadvantages: the ballads, the covers

girls aloud are so good to the point that it frustrates me! they should have only lasted a couple of albums max before another group came on to the scene. yet the train shows no signs of slowing down after 5 years! girls aloud are just a great op group with greatr pop songs that know their market and dont claim to be anything better than they really are. how many bands have released a great debut then come back a year later with a more 'mature' sound only for the album to be a comlete flop. so many artists have committed career suicide in this way. yet the girls aloud team stick to what they know they are popular for: good, catchy, pop songs with sexy videos.
ok, their ballads are questionable and they have done too many covers when their own songs are so much better, but for the simple fact that the only thing about them that has changed is their hairstyles, they have to be respected for moving with the times while sticking to their roots.
every song from sound of the underground to call the shots has a similar sound, yet they are unique but just as catchy. the guardian newspaper even called 'biology' the best pop song of the new millenium.
even if you hate pop or manufactured bands, you cant help but love girls aloud for their songs, their sexiness, their britishness.
they are great entertainment and hopefully they will keep churning out the same sort of stuff for years to come.
