      Truly crap!

Finally some suggestions have come through and I'm released on my next burst of album reviews of bands who appeared at Glastonbury this year. I have to say I held some hope for these Brighton mostly because the name of the band appealed. Unfortunately, it's the direst type of acoustic indie you'll come across, worst yet it's the kind that the UK is starting to become recognised for.

This album has the same depressive sound that Radiohead's OK Computer album did, however it's not half as interesting, completely lacks gusto and it's 14 years later. They sound like a bunch of wannabes, can barely play their instruments - merely brushing them most of the time leaving it a dull minimalistic sound which unfortunately allows us to hear the high-pitched nauseating singing of the vocalist. It's painful to actually work out what he's saying because it sounds like he's having various pointy objects shoved in him.

Final Correspondence is probably one of the only tracks where the guitar playing progresses a little bit but the vocals are of course unbearable. This has to be one of the worst albums I've ever heard, I'm not sure if he's whinging because it's hard to make out what he's saying but I can't believe anyone would buy this.
