Advantages: The songs are done well.

Disadvantages: They didn't write the songs.

Guns'n Roses were one of the finest rock bands of all time, who's music filled stadiums worldwide, so why did they go and release a whole album full of cover songs, is that a cop out or what?!! Axl Rose and his mates must have had a few years of artistic block because after the two "Use your Illusion" albums were released the world wondered what G'N R would come up with, people asking impatiently "when is it coming out?" a huge buzz at the launch and suddenly, overnight, G'N R had given us last night's left overs, a whole album of other people's songs. I don't know about anyone else, but if I wanted those songs I would have found the originals. But as a fan of G'N R, I can't slag it off completely, The music is well done and the songs are well chosen, Axl Rose singing "Down on the Farm" in a London accent is quite entertaining too!! I just feel that it's a shame that a band with so much talent had to leave on an album of other people's stuff. All in all, it's good music but it's not Guns N' Roses.
