Advantages: Fantastic songs, none are boring
Disadvantages: None
Never really listened to this band until I saw them supporting The Enemy a few weeks back. And they were great. As soon as I got home I bought this album, and it is simply brilliant.
Catchy vocals in every song, and fantastic meaning behind them. The drums and guitar playing is superb and the instrumental sections of the tracks are something to treasure.
There is a good variety on the album, upbeat, fast tempo songs such as State of Things, The Machine, and then slower songs with more meaning such as Sex with the Ex.
The band remind of something the early Arctic Monkeys would have produced and I think this album is on par with their first. You find yourself singing along at any stage, and tapping your feet. Every song just makes you want to get up and dance. This album does not have a weak point to it, and no song makes you want to flick over to the next one.
Summary: A fantastic album, with a bit more publicity these can go places
