The System Has Failed - Megadeth

The first album after Megadeth broke up so after years in the making was this album going to satisfy the fans? My answer is yes as this is one of my favorite albums ever made. The album lyrically consists of a lot of politically assaulting terms towards the higher Archie and the people in charge of America. This album sees Dave Mustaine and Chris Poland smacking out brilliant guitar solos that have become expected from the metal masters. After a brief stint in the pop/techno word with "Risk" and the slightly weak "Youthanasia" this is the album that I'd say Megadeth got back their bite with. A welcome return to Chris Poland, one of the original guitarists from the Peace Sells era. As Megadeth have another shot at attaining metal glory, harsh riffs and even more harsh lyrics Mustaine and his band of not so merry men take have a shot at mixing political subject matter and personal subjects with mustaines trademark vocals all along, and finally, the World's greatest thrash metal band is back at work.
