A couple of bangers
Fairly repetitive beats
Diminishing Between Worlds - Decrepit Birth
Good guitar work.
Doesn't make sense.
Dismantling Devotion - Daylight Dies
More compelling and involving.
Still steals from Katatonia.
Dragonslayer - Dream Evil
Tribute to classic metal, with appropriate modern power metal influence. Incredibly catchy.
Cheesy.
Dream Evil - Dio
A last chance for 1980s Dio.
Less impressive than earlier albums.
Enter Suicidal Angels - Dark Tranquillity
Death Metal - 1996
Enthrone Darkness Triumphant - Dimmu Borgir
fast, melodic, varied
lost is the old sound, the mid tempo melancholy
Evilized - Dream Evil
Very little stands out.
A few good riffs here and there, and the style doesn't wear thin until the second track.
Existence - Dark Suns
Distinctive and impressive modern prog.
Lacks excitement as the album plods on.
Embrace Of Memory - Darkestrah
Some catchy, traditional black metal.
Later songs sound too similar, and less interesting.
