The Cowboy Junkies - a wild kick arse name for a band – but the reality is that this is a mild mannered group comprising siblings Peter, Margo and Michael Timmins plus friend Alan Anton who produce songs stripped down to their bare essentials to give a so laid back its horizontal feel to all their songs. Their 1st album “Whites off Earth Now” had a blues feel, but in touring this album they ventured into the heart of the USA and listened to a lot of country music, a feel which permeates through this, their 2nd album.
