      Very helpful

      oh dear

Before I begin, I must point out that this album does not represent my music tastes! This review sets out to highlight what the album has to offer! It bills itself as the Ultimate Cheese Party Album and it lives up to its name. Three discs of the kind of songs that you could only hope to hear at the worst parties ever.

Dance routines are the name of the game on the first disc. who can resist standing in a line and doing the 'YMCA' with men clad in leather or leaping to the side and putting hands on hips to do Damien's tongue in cheek 'Timewarp.' They are quite good fun, whereas Chas and Dave is not, it is a wonder anyone still buys into their dated sound.

'The Birdie Song' is a step too far. There is cheese and then there is...well you can probably think of the expletive I could have inserted there. Unless you are three or have the brain capacity of a squashed red ant, then I really cannot see how you would ever want to hear this song. Luckily, the ever reliable Gina G is at hand to add some class and glamour with her feisty Eurovision entry.

Disc two heralds more treats in the form of the Gap Band, so you can get your best dress dirty, while pretending to row a boat. Then you can leap back up and start thrusting the hips to 'Sexbomb' before winding things right down to a dirty grind with Shabba Ranks' 'Mr Loverman.' The disc closes with the drug infuelled 'Because I Got High' by Afroman. Perfect for kids parties, yes?!

Disc three is underway with the chubby DJ Otzi doing 'Hey Baby' in that lovely gravelly out of tune voice. I was pleased to see the inclusion of 'La Bamba' which always brings to mind cheap holidays in mainland Spain. Things get worse though, as 'Agadoo' crops up, sitting oddly near German techno act Scooter. Whoever compiled the CD earns brownie points for creativity!

50 tracks in total and some hideous cover artwork complete what is essentially an album you would never admit to wanting.
