Battleroar - Battleroar
Authentically recreates the classic metal spirit.
Stuck in the past.
Where The Shadows Lie - Battlelore
Atmospheric metal for Tolkien fans.
No one else will find much here.
Third Age Of The Sun - Battlelore
Folk elements hint towards an interesting new direction.
Still too rooted in gothic- and nu-metal to really impress.
Swords Song - Battlelore
Improved orchestration.
All the old problems remain.
Say It Like You Mean It - Starting Line
Much of this album is excellent, superbly catchy Pop Punk expertly executed.
In 'Leaving' the band try too many things at once and it just doesn't work.
L.E.F. - Ferry Corsten
Good variety of sounds and styles - no fillers
Won't convert non-believers
Greatest Hitz - Limp Bizkit
There are a lot of fine moments here.
Not all of the album is particularly impressive.
Evernight - Battlelore
If you like Evanescence, this should be enough to satisfy your low expectations.
An even greater disappointment than their other albums.
Decadence - Head Automatica
Bouncy and truly exciting powerpop music, tremendous fun to listen to.
A couple of the tracks here are a little disappointing.
I Am The Movie - Motion City Soundtrack
Upbeat synths meet pop-punk
Sometimes the group's enthusiasm runs away with them and the music outdoes the vocal offering
