If you want your house broken down, then maybe this is the compilation for you. The definition of eurphoric house is essentially uplifting, positive and rousing dance music. The kind of tracks which will make you want to put those arms in the air. There are two discs here and a sterling 42 tracks to get the teeth into. The album kicks off with Spiller's 'Groovejet.' Sophie Ellis Bextor's slinky vocal ensures it stays absorbing, without ever being buoyant. I bought this album when it first came out back in 2003. It is a two Cd set but I confess that I do end up playing the first CD a lot more than the second. The second does seem to suffer from the same problem a lot of two disc sets have that there seem to be a lot of filler tracks . The style of the CD is very Dance themed and it is one of those CD's that just fades from one track to the next so you don't have any annoying gaps. I really love playing this CD in my car - usually on a sunny day when I can take the roof off and play it really really loud!!!
