in the UK, this album is a timely reminder of her soulful voice and her broad appeal. Who is she: Born and Cuba before moving to the States, Gloria was mainly big in the mid eighties to early nineties, scoring a successful run of hits. On this album: Coming Out Of The Dark is the title song and is a confident and strident number, which shows Gloria pushing her vocal boundaries, it was a tour de force for her and signalled a triumphant return. Seal Our Fate is more uptempo and one which you could dance to, a sturdy pop song.
