What words can ever do M Marvin Gaye justice? I first fell in love with him and that incredible voice when I heard Abraham, Martin and John (not on this album, sadly) for the very first time. It has remained my all-time favourite song. As for his classic, Let s Get It On - this is absolutely mind-blowing in its perfection. The title track is one of the sexiest and most seductive songs ever - a great song to fall in love to! As with all Marvin Gaye s songs, there is a depth of soul and passion that is hard to beat. The original version of Marvin Gaye's classic album What's Going On is available mid-price at around £10.99. However, if you really appreciate this album then pay about five pounds more and purchase the deluxe edition. What you get is two CDs instead of one. The first CD contains the original album digitally remastered, and directly after it you get the original Detroit mix of the album which was refused. The mix is both different enough and similar enough to be both enjoyably new and not too far from the fans' perception of the original.
