Music for Everyone to Enjoy Whether you are new to Nona Simone or a life long admirer this is a great collection form a great singer. Given her very varied repertoire, aficionados might argue about whether or not this is the Very Best of her work, but every track is a good one. My 18 year old daughter got me this record for Xmas because she knew how much I loved Nina Simone's wonderful voice. About 5 years ago one of my friends recommended Nina Simone to me and, putting the recommendation down to some freak of nature and classifying Nina Simone as someone I thought my grandmother might listen to, I failed to take heed - MISTAKE! Enlightened by the legendary Muller yoghurt ad, I discovered that I actually ALREADY liked Nina Simone (I just didn't know that the person singing WAS Nina Simone!)
