Paul Weller vowed when he split from the jam in '82 he would never play with Buckler and Foxton again, why?, I have no idea, maybe the strain of living in each others pockets for 10 years can do this to a person, especially someone as moody as Weller. It's no secret the band had started to fall apart at the seams when Weller started feeling the pressure of "living in a fishbowl" as he put it. I'm a great believer to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. Back in the late 70?s and early 80?s Music had reached a new dimension. Punk had risen from the ashes of disco, and the music became loud, angry and frantic.
