The Warrior was Chariot's debut album and there is a noticeable difference between their music on this one and on later albums, even as soon as their next release Burning Ambition. First up, the vocals have a lot of balls to them, gravelly, short and fast they sound quite similar to Lemmy's of motorhead, he also leaves plenty of space for the musicians to concentrate on solos, heavy bass lines compliment some wicked guitar solos.
