...Introduction... Here is an artist that might be new to some of you, Keyshia Cole was born on 15th October 1981 in Oakland, California. She was the subject of a reality show for the release of her debut album "The way it is" which I am reviewing today. This album was the outcome of four years hard work trying to get her her voice and music heard. She was very close to the late Tupac Shakur as she knew him through her brother as she was growing up in a rough Oakland Neigbourhood.
