The band are technically superb, they retain their progressiveness and put out some fairly long tracks, quick shifts in instrument tend to stop one from ever feeling bored and attempts to keep you on the edge all the time, the band succeed in doing so but after the CD is switched off, you'd be hard pushed to remember the early to mid parts of the album. Gojira - In the Way of the Flesh This is the French extreme metal band's 4th album "The Way of All Flesh", it was released at the beginning of October and has been widely praised.It covers the band's vision about life and death. Singer, Guitarist and Producer Joe Duplantier is back fresh from his outing with Sepultura's Cavalera brothers and the side-project Cavalera Conspiracy. Some lyrics overly cheesy Pretty much faultless, this is a timeless classic. Maybe could have gone a song or two more but that's just being greedy.
