Here you have The Who's first album. The swinging sixties had just met the band who were going to stick the boot in. "Out In The Street" has an introduction that is eerily familiar to the Who fan ear. The rhythm guitar strumming for the first few bars show how "Anyway Anyhow Anywhere" was already in the pipeline. This track however develops into the sixties sound of rock with a few disturbances in an arty way, of Pete's guitar. Surprisingly matured kicking sound considering their collective youth.
