is amazing. Megadeth still rock even if it's more radio friendly. If you have a choice between this and the newer The World Needs A Hero......choose the latter! But if you MUST own everything by them then I guess it's ok........if you're rich! ...

Rust In Peace: Remastered & Expanded - Megadeth

Premium Review Megadeth - Rust in Piece (661 words)
by Woodenboy - written on 01/07/03 (Very useful, 466 readings)
Rating:

At release: Dave Mustaine, Lead guitar, Lead vocals Dave Ellefson, Bass Marty Friedman, Lead guitar Nick Menza, Drums Prior to this release, Megadeth were highly successful, but had struggled to achieve the universal acclaim of other metal bands of the time. However, Rust in Piece changed all that, instantly. "Rust in Piece", the title track, introduces the album brilliantly with a tempo of fierce aggression, gripping you and throwing you headlong into the unrestrained brilliance of Dave Mustaines lyrics. Rust in peice is a birds eye view through the eyes of persons caught up in the struggle with military situations in the middle east. ...

Megadeth was, in 1990 - Dave Mustaine - Vocals/guitars Marty Freidman - Guitars David Ellefson - Bass Nick Menza - Drums This album, released in 1990, was Megadeth's third album under Capitol Records, and it was their fourth overall. Now let me get to the point, this album absolutely rips. I will use an alphabet rating system on this album, and will rate each song individually, and then the album as a whole. 1. Holy Wars ... The Punishment Due - This song has a great opening riff and some very interesting lyrics. The only thing that pulls this song down is that it kind of drags on a little at the end, just repeating ...

Generally good album Not as good as their other stuff

The best metal/hard rock album in time? maybe Allegedly ''the sell out album''

Well-executed, and not over-the-top. Bland and samey.

Great guitar parts, and some very catchy choruses, but still a recognisable Megadeth sound. Some songs seem very much filler material and a lot of the political lyrics don't fit well at all
