Destiny's Child are a very successful girl band from Houston, Texas, consisting of Beyonce Knowles, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. They've had more line ups than you've had hot dinners, but they're obviously talented and have gone far! This is their second album, The Writing's On The Wall, when the band still had four members; Beyonce, Kelly, LeToya and LaTavia . The last two have since left and sued the remaining members twice several times. 1) INTRO This is their take on The Godfather, and sets down a set of Destiny's Commandments that will appear throughout the album before each song, such as 'Thou shall pay ... The album "Writing On The Wall" was released back in 1999. I'd just bought Destiny's Child recent album "Survivor" and was hugely impressed, so I decided to pay out and buy this. The intro is a peculiar start. We hear the girls giggling, trying to put on "gangtser" accents. The first songs, "So Good" "Bills Bills Bills" and "Confessions" are obvious hits. You only have to listen to them once to know why Destiny's Child are so big. There's just one thing I don't understand, "Confessions" features Missy Elliott, but she doesn't appear to do any major vocals! ... Read the complete review

You could be forgive for thinking that Destiny's Child are far older than they are in fact are. After hearing their music for the past few years in particular I always thought them to be in their mid to late twenties. I was therefore extremely suprised to discover that they are all in fact only born in 1981 making them just 20. Destiny's child actually formed in 1990 with just 2 members LaTavia and Beyoncè when they were both just 9. Kelly joined the group in 1992 and LeToya completed the line-up in 1993. Over the years though the line up has changed numerous times up until present day when there are now just three with Farrah Franklin recently ... Read the complete review

Destiny's child new-ish album 'The Writings on the wall' consists of 17 rhythmic, R&B songs. They go a bit like this: 1. Intro (The writings on the wall) This one is just basically one of them talking and introducing what their album is about and what there singing for blah blah blah. 2. So good So good is a v.good song and it's one of my favorites. It has a bad attitude feel to it. It's a fast upbeat song where it's about a girl telling her ex that he said she wouldn't make it in life successfully but she has and she has platinum records etc. 3. Bills, Bills, Bills This song has great lyrics to it. It is a typical ... Read the complete review

That they are so successful, especially with their latest album. It has such great songs like : bug-a-boo - this is a good song to listen to, and it's very catchy- it's smooth lyrics and tune is easy going. Bills, Bills, Bills - very r'n'b and catchy-the lyrics are very cool and show great feminis, attitudes. jumpin, Jumpin - this is a great party song- ready to egt you on your feet and jumpin, jumpin! Say My name - this is one of my favourite songs, as it's very memorable, funky and has great lyrics! Independant woman - this is the other favourite- it's available on the new updated album, ...
