Volume 8: The Threat Is Real - Anthrax
More experimental and fun than other mid-to-late-nineties Anthrax.
Still nothing like the good ol' days.
Stomp 442 - Anthrax
Groove metal fans may enjoy it.
This is horrible.
State Of Euphoria - Anthrax
More of the same for devoted fans of the previous album.
Boring as a result, and very samey throughout.
Sound Of White Noise - Anthrax
If you're desperate for more generic early-nineties hard rock/grunge.
Doesn't sound like Anthrax, and John Bush doesn't impress.
Persistence Of Time - Anthrax
More technical, melodic, heavy, varied, epic and powerful than anything else the band would release.
A couple of songs still sound similar.
Penikufesin - Anthrax
Entertaining subsidiary offering from Anthrax's golden age.
Nothing substantial, beyond a bit of fun.
Attack Of The Killer B's - Anthrax
Some good hardcore-thrash crossover stuff, and interesting new material.
Comedy songs are a bit rubbish, and some of the covers too basic.
Among The Living - Anthrax
Super fast, super consistent
The vocals
Bring The Noise - Anthrax
Rap metal that isn't terrible, balanced out with a couple of near-classics.
May alienate metal fans, and hip hop fans may not like the later tracks.
Plays Metallica By Four Cellos - Apocalyptica
Fantastic take on some classic Metallica songs.
Shame the album is only 8 songs long not 88.
