Reptile - Eric Clapton

Rating:
and for me it is better than the previous track Got you on my mind. It has a very catchy feel to it and was written by JJ Cale who Eric Clapton recently released an album with. Track 4 - This is slower than the previous two tracks and in between Reptile and the two. Eric sings softly with a gentle drum and guitar piece. A nice gentle song that will be some peoples favourite song on the album. Track 5 - Come Back Baby has a superb blues soul feel and is one of my favourite Eric Clapton tracks of the 21st Century. There is some great soaring guitar work here and his voice shows great power and emotion. Track 6 - Broken down is about when everything seems to go wrong ...

giants together although Eric Clapton has a bit to go before he has the years behind him in my opinion. This has great vocals and superb guitar playing from both these artists. I could listen to this music all night long. In fact later this year I'm going to B.B. Kings town and hope to be sitting in his blues club on ...

Rating:
year! Two of the greatest guitarists, spanning two classic generations of blues. A collection of standards and BB King classics, the album is sublimely produced to give Eric and King a channel each, and when they trade licks the effect over a quality stereo in a small room is one of an intimate jam between two masters of their craft. If you have an appreciation for guitar well played, or blues from the heart, this is a winner. At any age this represents a classic recording, and from this day forth no CD collection is complete without it. These two men have influenced so much of the music we hear today that to appreciate it's roots, and know that they are ...
