Advantages: Catchy and entertaining songs, all in high quality
Disadvantages: None really
These Streets is Paolo Nutini's first album. Since I have owned it, I really have become addicted to it. Most of the songs generally come in to the acoustic / pop genre, and they are very good to listen to when you want to relax.
Paolo Nutini has a great voice firstly, which is combined with some brillaint guitar playing skills. Generally the songs are quite catchy to listen to, and most of them become quite addictive to listen to.
Here is the song list in the album:
1.Jenny Don't Be Hasty
2. Last Request
3. Rewind
4. Million Faces
5. These Streets
6. New Shoes
7. White Lies
8. Loving You
9. Autumn
10. Alloway Grove
My favourite song here has to be Rewind, I like the break especially. Loving you and These streets are probably the most catchy songs, with very exciting choruses, and Jenny don't be hasty is also very catchy. Last request on the other hand is very soothing and a very relaxing song. Alloway Grove is a mix of all these songs and because of it is 10 minutes long. Having all this variety in an album makes it very pleasureable to listen to.
The songs on the actual CD are all in very high quality. The files do take up alot of room according to itunes which proves it. The good sound quality of the files could be heard especially when I listened to it through my Bose headphones, and the acoustic guitar especially sounded great.
Paolo Nutini really is a great talent, and his first album sounds amazing. If you have not got it already, I suggest that you buy it. It is £5 off amazon, or can be downloaded off itunes for £8. Five stars
Summary: A great debut album
