Advantages: Varied, talented, catchy and different

Disadvantages: Some singles do not live up to expectations such as "White Lies"

I hav a little crush on the 18 year old Italian Scot revealed in this sweet acoutic album. Featuring hits such as "Jenny, Don't Be Hasty", "New Shoes" and "Rewind", this is a beautiful mixture of slow and fast, happy and smooth- and never missing the subtle prescence of an acouctic guitar and an unusual, soulful, smokey voice.

Whats even better is every track on the 2006 release is brilliant, catchy, unique and clever- i find myself singing my favourites even now. I love the actual single "These Streets", as it is great example of the continuous musical ability of collegeboy Nutini...with its wistful lyrics and lonely guitar strumming, its wonderfully simplistic yet bold. He is successful- touring with this album as well as his new one, "Sunny Side Up".

Even three years after the Atlantic records release, it is still worth purchasing (from £4.98 at Amazon) to chilling out to in your bedroom or at a BBQ with songs such as "Rewind", "Million Faces" and "Alloway Grove" or grooving along to more jumpy, speedy and instrumentally challenging pieces such as "Jenny Don't Be Hasty" and "New Shoes".

Featuring 10 songs, this is a gorgeous album written by a gorgeous man, with a gorgeous voice.
