This has to be one of my favourite albums of the last few years. Sway has such a distinctive style and flow, I'm shocked that this hasn't done as well as some other uk hip hop albums that have been released in recent times. Sway is probably best known for his comical and amusing lyrics which really come to the fore when he is performing live, however, this album has some very serious and some might say depressing tracks. Pretty Ugly husband deals with domestic violence while Download is a commentary on the increase of downloadable music available on the internet and the impact this is having on the music industry. The more fun side of Sways character is obvious on track such as Little Derek where he speaks about growing up and what could have happened if he had not chosen music as his career path and Up Your Spped which is a rousing, upbeat track. This whole album is very well produced and, when listened to in order, actually feels like an album, something which many hip hop albums fail to achieve.
